The Real Reason Iraq was Invaded
1.Protesters protested against the war but the US ignored the biggest anti-war protest ever in Rome with 3 million people. That's a lot of people right? and the UK and US are supposed to be democracies so why did George Bush and Tony Blair ignore it?
2. The US invaded Iraq with 20,000 missiles and killing an estimated 175,000 people in total. The reason was that Bush and Blair said that Iraq was a powerhouse that had weapons of mass destruction but inspectors found no evidence to support what Bush said. Iraq didn't even have an air force.
3. With all the chaos happening it opened the door for the US to install it's own governor, Paul Bremer as the administrator of the coalition provisional authority of Iraq. Soon after he contracted USA's corporations to rebuild Iraq. And paid with Iraq's oil revenue. Which was 1 of the biggest oil suppliers then. He also dropped Iraq's corporation tax from 40% to 15%.
